Limited edition handmade headbands by Emily Jean Atelier and designed in collaboration with ShareJoy founder Anne-Marie Tomchak go on sale on Depop 14 April 2021. All proceeds go to Pieta.

The story behind the collaboration

“We launched earlier his year with the goal of raising funds for mental health charities and increasing awareness around suicide prevention by selling clothes donated by celebrities on Depop and being a top resale destination for pre-loved fashion and sustainable brands,” said Tomchak.

“Spotlighting Irish and UK designers and artisans was also one of the things we wanted to do with the ShareJoy platform, so this collaboration feels really appropriate to our mission,” added Tomchak.

"I am delighted to be collaborating with Sharejoy on this exciting project,” said O’Byrne.

“I genuinely believe that style and how we dress can lift our moods. My hope for these limited edition headbands is that they will bring well-being and confidence to the ladies who wear them.”

“I hope these headbands bring wellbeing and confidence to those who wear them.”

Over a series of video calls between Galway and London in February 2021, both women worked closely on designing a bespoke pattern and colour palette for the headbands.

“It felt really collaborative at every stage (in terms of concept and execution),” said Tomchak.

“The fabric has purple and grape tones and features stars with little bursts of yellow. It’s a beautiful visual representation of ShareJoy’s ethos and Emily Jean’s craft. It also symbolically reflects what we’re about - sharing for a wider purpose.”
